Deepcentral - Music Makes Me Free

Probably not the best song, but my weakness will always be party clips from the club in music videos...

Magnetic Man ft. Katy B - Perfect Stranger (LIVE)

This is pretty neat. Not everyday you get to see computers and strings in the same room.

We No Speak Americano ft. Cleary & Harding

Swedish House Mafia Documentary

I'm sure some of you have already heard about the documentary being filmed about Swedish House Mafia. It's been in the works for the past few years I believe and should cover 285 concerts in 15 countires. I don't really know what to expect from this film, especially after watching this trailer. The concept is to show the highs and lows of being a WORLD FAMOUS electro crew and the difficulties/advantages faced. I'll tell you right now, I don't care how difficult their lives may be, i'll take it.

Sorry I'm Not Sorry Mr. Zimmerman...

Deadmau5 - Raise Your Weapon (Live from NYC 9/14/10)
Deadmau5... Joel... Bro...  The man has made mention of one of his pet peeves being the fact that people rip audio (specifically new unreleased tracks) from live sets / mix sets / etc. and broadcast them all over the interwebs via youtube and other file sharing sites.  The main part of this Pet Peeve, someone correct me if I'm wrong, rests with the circulation of low quality audio.  This brings with it the misrepresentation of the hard work and effort that goes into perfecting all of the intricacies that come with producing electronic music.

This video was ripped from a live stream set up by Mr. Zimmerman himself from NYC last night, big thanks to Müller for the heads up on this one.  The man put it up himself.  I don't feel bad about posting another person's youtube rip - this is easily the highest quality version of the track I've been able to find yet, all courtesy of Deadmau5's impeccable use of technology to keep fans tuned into his life.  This is his new progressive dubstep (new genre in the making?) track called "Raise Your Weapon."

With dubstep coming to be an increasingly visible genre in not only festivals but in mainstream popularity, there are a couple routes that my favorite grind could take.
a) Commercial popularity ruins it with Miley Cyrus pole dancing to the dubstep remix to "Party in the USA" at the VMA's next year and the genre fades into nothingness.
b) Artists like Deadmau5 continue to push the envelope and progress it down an unknown path of evolution - quality and quantity will increase tenfold.
c) It will lose popularity in the mainstream, radio will denounce it, people will claim that its dead - but the underground love for the nasty/gritty/dirty side of it will remain and will possibly get even "darker"
d) Dubstep becomes so intense (see track in the post below) that it actually turns cars, tractors, semi-trucks and all other vehicles into Decepticons and they destroy the world...

OH F*CK!

SKRILLEX - SCARY MONSTERS AND NICE SPRITES

Everyone... this track is easily poised to generate the most hype in the dubstep world since Rusko's Cockney Thug gave everyone a beginner's taste into the genre.  This is not for the faint of heart, those who wear anything with "Audigier" attached to it, and those who think K$SHA is a good artist.  This is, however, for all you grimey, Hundreds wearing, Alexisonfire loving individuals.  You know who you are.

Dada Life - Cookies With A Smile

Laserkraft 3D - Nein Mann

For all you German followers out there...song may be a little old, but definitely not those shoes.

Tim Turbo ft. Spoek Mathambo & Gnucci Banana - 'Hush (Iggy Iggy)

Groove Armada - Dance It Up ft. Will Young

DUBSTEP & DIRTY DUTCH

While we decide on a better platform for delivering choice tracks to the masses (legally), you're kind of stuck with youtube vids. Uhhh... not really that big of a problem, because these two cutters will have rape cases filed against you from your speakers in no time.. get it in and get your youtube-party-stream on.

The Beatles - Twist & Shout (John Revox & Ludaloza Remix)
From greatness comes the next installation in the dirty dutch movement...

Bone Thugs & B.I.G. - Notorious Thugs (Stephan Jacobs Dubstep Remix)
Apparently Stephan Jacobs is not a God fearing man because this track is straight sinful... pretty sure my brain stem was disconnected for a little while there @ 2:12.  For all of those of you who said dubstep wouldn't last, check out Mr. Hudson - Love Never Dies (Prod. by CASPA!), no apology necessary.

Long Weekend..

Adam K & Soha - Twilight (Deadmau5 remix)

Talk about a long weekend.. time to really relax and get back to basics.  This one might help you out with that.

CASPAAA

Caspa comes in hot with easily the hottest Dubstep track out this summer.  Also check out his remix of Swedish House Mafia's "ONE".  Game changers, for sure.

CASPA - BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA - ONE (CASPA REMIX)

Morgan Page + DJs From Mars + SPRING BREAK

Start it out with some traditional mellow house.

Complete switch from the track above - Jump Smokers and Pitbull have been collaborating for a while, think it's paying off?

Djs From Mars take over Earth.

The mid-week prep...

Owl City - Hello Seattle (Your Dirty Habit remix)
A little sprinkle of Seattle love to start it off...

Major Lazer, Harold Faltermeyer - Pon De Foley (Ludachrist Remix)
By far the best mashup I've heard in a very long time, sorry White Panda - Ludachrist is king.

Nas - Made You Look (Laidback Luke Bootleg)
Party Starter in typical L.L. fashion.

Young Money- Bedrock(Vindata Dance Remix)
Dancefloor banger.

BONUS DUBSTEP
TC - Wheres My Money(Caspa Mix)(Elite Force Re-Fix)
Excellent and very clean and syncopated version of the classic.

Last Name Ever....First Name, Slowest?

RAAAANNDYYY. If you didn't know already RAAAANDY is comedia Aziz Ansari. He's currently coordinating with Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio guy) on creating a rap/comedy mixtape. Check out this leaked sample below...it's pretty funny. I especially like the Kanye callout.

Monetize...

Beautiful track, not geared to party.. more to experience an epic event.. like seeing the Himilayas from the top of Mt. Everest, charming an A-list actress and having her booty call you at 4am in the morning, or walking away from  Vegas with the shopping cart pictured above.

A bit repetitive but miles ahead of the original.  Fist pump it out, then proceed to get my fist pump to your face if you still talk about how dope the jersey shore was.  Let's be real, that crew's antics deserve some fargo treatment.

Diddy feat Dirty Money - Love Come Down (DJ Dan Club Mix)
Extended mix so don't expect to get hit hard right away.  If you're a local DJ opening for a world-touring DJ, you'll want this for the arsenal.  If you're impatient then drop it to about 1:45.

Lazy Rich, Messinian - You Know How We Fucking Do (Original Mix)
Gotta be honest, this would be dope in a set where all you'd need to do would be to powerdrop the verses.
"You know how we f*ckin do. You know how we f*ckin do.  Worldwide, crush dimes.  You know how we f*ckin do!!!!  You know how we f*ckin do. You know how we f*ckin do. Her and her and her friend too. You know how we f*ckin do!!!"

360 Degree Festival Tour!!!

Just came accross this and was blown away... click on the video and drag it around... especially around 0:45, look for a true pro at work.

Chiddy Bang - Opposite Of Adults

Same song that uses the "Kids" sample.

Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be Rocking That Body

Ok, so I think this is a mix of two BEP songs. The first one annoys me for sure, but the overall vid is aaaaight. So many product placements.

PARTY TRAXX

Sorry for the delay on posts ya'll.  We're working on some new templates and media players for the blog - If we build it, they will come.  In the meantime, throw these on for your next party and watch the magic happen...

The Partysquad - Murderer (Original Mix)

Ch-Ch-Check it OUUTT

I feel guilty writing this post already. These next few tracks should each have their own respective posts, but time is not on my side right now. So, before you sift through and see which artists you may recognize and download, STOP. Every single track in this post is a BANGER. The picture above is what I'm only assuming to be Mozart listening to the unexpected leak of his electro half-brother-of-the-future Gartner's latest track, which you'll find below (and oh my god, he does it again). ENJOY

MMMMAASSHHUPPSS

So...we're trying something new here in terms of music delivery. Instead of the usual media player, this new setup should make previewing and sampling of music a little simpler. Some songs may not be downloadable, be warned, in which case you should part from your sleazy ways and actually buy/buy/buy the track.

Here are some mashups definitely worth adding to your playlists:

1. Party Ben - Blau Romance (Lady Gaga vs. Laidback Luke + Lee Mortimer + LA Riots)
2. A Trak x Drake x Birdman - Loonies To Blow
3. DJ Tripp - How Low In The House (Ludcris Vs. Steve Aoki
4. DOSVEC - One, Two, Memories (Ciara vs. David Guetta ft. Kid Cudi)
5. DJ Stroke - Dangerous (RHCP vs. Busta Rhymes)

YES! WE FINALLY HAVE IT!

You could write a book about the shit I have been through in my quest for this song...ever since I saw the initial promo vid...

And finally, we have it here. Will get the download link available ASAP.
Miike Snow - Silvia (Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South Remix)

Make The Girl Dance - Kill Me

Make The Girl Dance was the same group behind the Baby Baby Baby video, which was pretty interesting. Here's their next video creation, Kill Me.

Concept: What would you do, if you only had 8 days to live?

Alternative Energy

Not the name of a song...but an idea for energy created by electroheads tearing up a dancefloor. Who would have thought techtonik could actually be useful. The vid is not too informant in terms of specs, but the dancefloor in it looks sssaawweeettt.

DUBSTEP

Those of you that haven't caught on to this genre born out of the South London grime are truly missing out.  Yeah - it might be edgy, might be thicker than the Cascada fueled pop genres, and it might not be popular with the majority of the population out there.  To me this is all good though.  It marks a sound or concept that will very soon turn heads and point music in a new direction; look at the evolution of dubstep itself.  I was feeling inspired earlier today and tossed this quick-mix together.

I DIDN'T KNOW THESE EXISTED!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Final Tecktonic Dance Competition Part 2 (I only ran into this vid, had to post this before I even look for Part 1). It's complete with dance moves I've seen from mondotek vids as well as a guy wearing those ridiculous roller blade shoes that little fat kids wear. Enjoy.

Acid Girls - Lightworks

If you haven't noticed, I like music videos. . Especially creative ones like this...honestly I'm not too familiar with Acid Girls, but don't be fooled by the initial last supper-esque thumbnail for this vid.

Example - Won't Go Quietly

Tiësto feat. Nelly Furtado - Who Wants To Be Alone

Disco Inferno?

Ok, bad joke.

MIKE POSNER

So I recently got pointed in the right direction to, in my opinion, one of the most promising up and comers for 2010. Dude has swag for days. Enjoy the tune, you'll be hard-pressed to get "You Don't Have To Leave" out of your head (Miami Horror, anyone?).  More Mike Posner to come...

Mike Posner - You Don't Have To Leave

UPDATE
Klaas Wadum sent this track my way.

The Rad Omen - The Rad Anthem

Honestly...the song is OK. But it took me a double take on the video. At first I thought I saw fast food icons doing coke, drinking and getting faded at strip clubs and then I realized, that is exactly what they are doing.

TIME FOR SOME DIRT...

Got some pretty disgusting tunes today, try not to throw up when they hit you in the face.

Yet another groovin' Laidback Luke Bootleg.. this stays true to tradition folks

BarakVanunu throws the edge on this track that its been missing for so long but keeps most of the vocals on the same pattern - house party status

Not for the faint of heart...get up to 1:00 to see what this ones all about, then flip it upside down at 2:04

This reminds me too much of Ibiza... perfect early morning after party

Standard ItaloBrothers with some electro infused in

DANGER... Gladiator 2010

The best remix of this song I've heard yet, Mille is tearing up Sweden right now.

A section of their live set from New Years 2009/2010 @ O2 Arena... Anyone who thinks Justice can't dj is happily proven wrong with one listen

CAPTAIN CRUNK!

I can't believe I've been out of the loop on this Atlanta native for this long.  I just came across this gem today.  A little b'more, a little crunk, a little oldschool - ch'yea.

NEW MIX: Prefunk Spectacular Part Deux

This is too good. TMZ claims this picture is of a vacation boat (yacht at the time) perched out clearly somewhere nice that there are naked girls jumping out of it. Better yet, you'll see circle on the picture that is supposed to be around the then president, JFK...nice.

Now, to the best part of this post, CHECK OUT THE NEW MIX!! Put it together and although it's close to 15 mins, it's got beats that'll make you listen from start to finish. Add this to the tracks from Craig's post below and you should be set for tonight, tomorrow night, monday night...yeah

TheHausExperiment - Prefunk Spectacular Part Deux
Tracklist:

BLOG RAIDERS / MASSIVE DROP

Did some blog cruising today.. All these tracks should be played at maximum decibels, we're trying to drive the neighbors insane.  We'll start it off with a track sent to us by this cat down in SF who goes by Wadum...

Too smooth for a description...

You'll know this remake of an old-school cut from the second you hit play.

gotta admit, flo rida is climbing the ranks yet again

ITS ALMOST FRIDAY...

Without any snow around this winter, the mood in the city has been pretty mellow.  I especially love it because no one is running around bitching about not having snow tires even though they can't drive worth shit anyways... just a little Seattle commentary for you guys.. lets face it, you just want the tunes.  These would seem like summer jams but the fact that they're dropping in the winter is making me anticipate the warmer climate minute by minute...

Boys Noize - Jeffer

DJ PAULY D

Yes, this man is real (on the right).  I'm posting this up purely out of novelty value.  He's got a couple of choppy mixes and way too many shout outs for a 30 minute mix.  Good mash-ups though so at least his selection is on point... either way its pretty funny that this dude dj's and has an ego the size of that gelled-up dead raccoon on his head.
